Ono is the best poke shop I've tried in the Seattle area, maybe even the entire west coast! Their fish always tastes super fresh -- their ahi is fresh from Hawai'i, which is the reason why Ono is one of the few poke places on the west coast whose ahi I actually order & enjoy. I've never had a poke flavor off their menu that I didn't like, but I'd definitely recommend mixing & matching two or more different kinds of fish & flavors for some variety.

I'm gonna keep this short. The best poke this side of the mainland! Fish is marinated with perfectly and balanced with the other toppings. Love the various soy sauces if you want extra flavor, but honestly they are not needed. It's already so good. Services is fast friendly and with the alpha spirit. The Hawaiian reggae and vibes will take you to the islands even with the Washington weather.

I stopped by Ono Hawaiian Poke for lunch with a friend one day, and I was really blown away by the quality and taste of the poke. Since it was around 2 PM on a Sunday, there was plenty of seating available, but there was definitely a steady stream of people coming in for takeout or to eat in. By the time we arrived, a couple of options, including the standard ahi, were already sold out. My friend and I were both pretty hungry, so we each got a large bowl, which turned out to be plenty of food. They were generous with the portions of fish in both our plates, which made us really happy. I chose the spicy salmon and scallop with krab salad as my side. Both the salmon and scallop were delicious. The scallop dish tasted like a mac salad, but with scallops instead of macaroni. The spicy salmon included tomatoes and had a seasoning that went beyond the usual spicy poke, making it irresistible. The krab salad was okay, nothing too special. My friend got the standard salmon and the spicy ahi. Both types of fish were clearly high quality and tasted good, but in my opinion, they weren't as good as the spicy salmon or scallops. The mac salad my friend had was quite good and complemented the entire dish well. Overall, I was really impressed with the quality of the poke and the generous portions at Ono Hawaiian Poke. I would definitely come back here whenever I get a poke craving in the future.

Wow! This is one of the better poke spots (Hawaiian style) in the greater Seattle area. It is really popular to the point I made two attempts to go here. First time, I went here 1:30pm on a Sunday, and they ran out of everything except for 1 tuna and 1 salmon choice, so I wasn't that inclined to get anything (I wanted to try the scallops). So this time I went around 11:30am and waited about 10 minutes (it was way busier if you go around noon, even today on a Tuesday!). They were nice to offer some samples so I got to sample the scallops (finally) and albacore, which were both excellent but a bit creamy for the marinade, so I ended up getting a medium with spicy ahi and shoyu salmon, with side of seaweed salad. Medium was $21 and I paid $1 extra so I can get an extra side option (mac salad). There is a 50 cent charge for credit card convenience fee, and then there is tax so the meal came out to about $25, which is a bit on the pricier side for a fast casual place, but the quality is really good and portions were fairly large. A medium was enough for one large satisfying meal. The poke is so fresh! When I first took a bite of the salmon, the cuts were smooth and the flavor is really apparent. This goes similarly for the ahi tuna, though the sauce somewhat dominates more but the fish flavor is still apparent. The mac salad was very flavorful and creamy, which goes fairly well with the poke. Seaweed salad is consistent as it should be. Overall, I am a fan of this place and I feel like I want to go back here tomorrow. It is just that delicious.
